MJ Rip

The whole world knows about it. I knew about it when I saw baby's personal message on Facebook. It was real. I couldn't believe it. I immediately Googled to read about what happened. He is the same age as my dad. Younger by a month actually. It is really sad to hear about deaths at young ages like this and especially sad when everyone has been looking forward to his concerts and new album. How unpredictable life can be.

MJ, I'm sure you've read by now have touched millions of people around the globe with his songs, young and old. I am part of the generation that has been listening to his songs since I was a little girl. My mom grew up in his generation. So many songs of his that I really loved. So many songs that helped me in the process of growing up. So many songs that brings back memories. Songs that I've enjoyed screaming my lungs out with, breaking eardrums and glasses and jumping around with like a chimpanzee or worse a person with 2 left feet. Embarassment? What's that?

But I guess, all I can say now is thank you for the music that you've shared with us and may you rest in peace. Even with all the bad news that has been reported, you will always be known for your music. You are the king of pop. You are a legend. You are the one and only Michael Jackson.
